NBE Productions have launched an environmentally friendly hybrid heating system for homes which combines a heat pump with a wood pellet boiler. The system is equipped with an intelligent control system that switches between the wood pellet boiler and the heat pump based on electricity and wood pellet prices. It is also capable of monitoring and using excess electricity from any on site micro generation system such as solar PV or wind turbine. The system has the usual level of online monitoring and control through NBE’s Stokercloud cloud based portal as all other NBE heating control systems. As standard the controller comes with the ability to run a solar thermal heating system.
